You Make All Things New

I aspire to be more; more than expectation, more than cooperation. I hate routine & being told how we must live out our lives. I would gladly live my life being inspired each & everyday, I want to start pushing my boundaries.

My faith, Fashion, Art, Music, Interior design, Architecture, My kitty Sabby, Tea, Sushi, Dandelions, Patterns, My tafe class, Dance, Road tripping, Exercise; yes I said it, exercise. Reading, being inspired.

Yard Sale Project - Roccapina Chair

Designed by furniture maker Ian Spencer and industrial designer Cairn Young of Yard Sale Project, the Roccapina has a smooth front but a stunningly jagged back. It’s almost as if the back looks pixelated.

Mapping the World’s Most Seductive Shrines to Coffee

T.S. Eliot, quite possibly the greatest English language poet of the 20th century, oh-so eloquently reflected on the passing of time by saying, “I have measured out my life with coffee spoons.” So have we Thomas, so have we. From the borough of Brooklyn to Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Tokyo, and every other hub buzzing with creative productivity, we suspect that if they’re not all jump starting their days with Nespresso at the crack of dawn, they’re fueling their weary world with the rich, velvety, caffeinated goodness of some damn good direct trade, shade-grown beans roasted on vintage gear, pulled by an expert hand.

Caux Collective Introduces: Humans Since 1982

In what is undoubtedly my favourite piece of interactive artwork this year, this installation named ‘A Million Times’ comes from Stockholm-based Design Studio, Humans Since 1982 who debuted their monochrome masterpiece at the Design Days Dubai Fair earlier this year.

Consisting of 288 analogue clocks, this formation is ingeniously operated to provide not only fluid, mesmerising patterns using the waves created by the hands, but also minute-by-minute time updates, displayed in the style of a digital clock. If you would like to see more of this project, head over to the website or take a look on Vimeo to see this stunning piece in action.
